Paperlab Studios is proud to announce the debut of Speeders Inc., a new graphic novel coming soon to Kickstarter. Written by Nate Hill and drawn by Mervyn McKoy, it’s their long-awaited follow-up to the Giant Robot Warrior Maintenance Crew mini-series.

 

Speeders Inc. brings readers to the futuristic urban sprawl of New Verence City, where business is everything and deadlines are a matter of life and death. But despite the mutants, killer cyborgs and biker gangs roaming the streets, someone has to navigate the chaos and make critical deliveries happen.

 

That’s where the couriers of Speeders Inc. (Skids, Trak, Jonesy, and V-Ray) come in. It’s a demanding, high-stress job but so far,the four of them make it work.

 

Yet despite their skills and experience, the latest assignment may finally be the end for them. Speeders Inc. has stumbled its way into a conspiracy that threatensall of New Verence, and a few underpaid gig-workers likely won’t be enough to stop it.

 

“Speeders Inc. is our love-letter to classic manga like Akira and Battle Angel Alita, with a heavy dose of the novel Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson,” said Hill. “We’ve had this story in the works for a while now, and at long last we’re ready to unleash it on an unsuspecting world.”
